Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) is a flexible and affordable technology that offers small and medium businesses the same sophisticated communication tools enterprise-size competitors have. Using a VOIP phone system will allow you to do things that are simply not possible with a traditional phone system. While we have found VOIP phone systems to be extremely reliable, specific setup and installation knowledge is required in order to make them function properly. We install and support both the 3Com NBX line of VOIP phone systems as well as the Linksys Voice System (LVS) product line.
Phone system maintenance is greatly simplified and can be performed remotely in most cases. Phones can be added and removed from these systems, and user names and mailbox passwords can be changed remotely. If a staff member is changing offices, they simply unplug their phone and plug it into the network jack in their new office. The systems automatically find the phone and retain its previous configuration.

Features included in our VOIP solution include:
- Voice Mail The basic system supports up to 400 hours of voice mail. Off site notification can be set up by mailbox to notify the user via email, pager or voice mail. You no longer need to go check for messages; the system can notify you upon receiving a new voicemail. Voice mail can also be accessed directly from Microsoft Outlook.
- Call Forwarding The administrator or the phone system user can set call forwarding by extension. You can choose to forward all calls, forward if your extension is busy, or if there is no answer.
- Caller ID is displayed on the LCD on the phone.
- Call Monitoring allows supervisors to listen to calls in progress. They can choose to activate whisper mode to talk to the agent without the caller hearing. They can also choose to use barge-in which allows the supervisor to talk to both the agent and the caller.
- Music on Hold is included in the base system package. All you need is a music source such as a CD player, MP3 player or computer with a speaker jack.
